BAPHOUN Temple

 Was built by the king Udayatidyavarman 2 mid of the 11^th century dedicated to Siva and this temple collapsed a few time and Baphoun is the mountain temple which is the symbolism of mount Meru and enclosure walls is made of sandstone 425m long 125m width surrounded the temple. A stone bridge linked this temple 200m long 2m width 1.5m high supported by 3 rows of short sandstone column.

          There are 2 rectangular pools flank this bride on the left after this pools there is a paved pool in square shape Baphoun is decorated with 5 levels which are rectangular shapes 1^st 2^nd 3^rd levels is the same size.
