Pimeanakas was built by the Jayavarman 5, Rajandravarman 2, and Suriyavarman 1 late of 10th century beginning 11th dedicated to Siva and phimeanakas correspond a story the soul of 9 headed serpent lived in this temple and every night this serpent disguised as charming young lady and the king had to sleep with her every night and if the king missed only one night his country will be turmoil. And around the Phimeanakas was excavated by frecnh in 1965 because they wanted to know the standard bottom of this temple and later was excavated by Khmers to find treasure and at the north there are 2 pools named women pool and another one men pool. Men pool is 50m long 25m width, 4,5 m depth and women pool is 125m long 45m width 8 m depth.
